Card combos - better outcomes
This is not a definitive list of combos! If you know any combos not listed here, please add to the comments. Loop Hero has some neat interactions when you place multiple cards together. I don't mean tricks like having vampires kill themselves on swamp anti-healing, or blood groves - I mean when tiles evolve into other things! Here are the tricks I've found so far:

Village + Vampire Mansion = Ransacked Village
Starting with an interesting one. One Mansion can ransack one Village. Each loop, it spawns 4 ghouls (plus the vampire!) which is a devastating fight on it's own. After looping 3 times, it becomes...

Ransacked Village + 3 loops = Count's Lands
A generous village that heals a massive amount of HP (115 on loop 5, no wheat fields). It also claims to give better quests/rewards, but it's hard to tell.

3x3 rocks/mountains = Mountain Peak
This gives a big pile of HP and spawns harpies. I expect everyone knows this one.

2 Battle Fields = Bloody Path
By placing 2 battle fields in close proximity of each other, they will create a bloody path that spawns blood clots every 4(?) days. I'm not sure what the proximity requirement is, I just built one on each side of a path and it turned the three wastelands between them into path.

Treasury + 8 surrounding tiles = Empty Treasury
This will spawn Gargoyles every 3 days.

Meadow + Non-meadow tile = Blooming Meadow
+1 HP per new day. Nothing crazy.

10 rocks = Goblin Camp
I hate these little buggers.

Goblin Camp + Swamp = Goblin Archer
Taking a fight near one of these is rough. The archer will chip away at your health throughout the fight.

Blood Grove - Grove = Hungry Grove
Deleting the forest this grove is attached to will make it hungry. It'll kill enemies at the 20% threshhold instead of 15%, but will also periodically damage the player.

Anything I'm missing so far? Please add to the list!

Oh nice, I just wanted to start this thread myself, you saved me some work! :D:
For the Bloody Path: Its the paths were the radius of the Battlefields overlap. And yes its every 4 days.
For the Treasury I would add that you get 2 cards and 2 good pieces of equipment from it (at least I got 2 and 2 so far.)

Has anyone tried to surround the Mountain Peak with Meadows? With the vampires and the villages something good came of it and the Harpy said she needed hunting grounds so thats my best guess, except maybe the Bloody grove?

So far I agree on the treasury, and they seem to be adjusted to current loop! (Save them and complete them right before a boss?)

I just removed a village from a wheat field and it became an Overgrown Field. It says it creates a field of blades during combat but I'm not seeing it in effect yet.

Those grass-blade enemies on Overgrown Fields are pretty nasty. I see no point of doing it. It feels like a pretty big downgrade considering you waste two important cards on it

I wonder if their drop rates or exp gains are worth it though? There are plenty of hard mobs you can get into the world that have better drops.

Best equipment drop is from Flesh Golem i guess. It's usually 3-4 high quality items. I don't remeber getting anything specific from those Overgrown Fields, but there should be something otherwise it's dead mechanic . I'm also curious about goblin watchtowers and any synergies with Temporal Beacon. Those Time Watchers are very tricky to kill and when they escape without loot it's very discouraging. They look really cool tho :lernie:

the peak mountain can only be done once?

Yes

I like village and the mountain I guess, the rest is just bad?

I feel, it is not really worth it to go for the difficult encounters... (flesh golem,...)
Way too risky, since there is no limit to loops, you can easly find you strongest point and challenge the boss then.(just don't play cards, until ready)
Maybe it will change with other bosses. (Or make the boss timer go further each loop, to incentivize those encounters)

later Flesh Golem drops four items with high quality... b u t if you are very unlucky and engage group of monsters where mentioned Flesh Golem has quest mark, and - even worse - hero chose to kill it first, you're doomed :skullerz: :lernie: I never skip that card tho because it's quality is too good, just place it wisely.

Difficult encounters give better exp and much better drops. The trick is to commit to 1-2 difficult encounter types (I usually have vampires and flesh golems for mine) and then limit how bad they can be via street lights. Generally, the best enemies you want to kill are skeletons, golems, vampires, and blood clots. Might be missing one, can't remember.
EDIT: Oh, Scarecrows.

You get a special resource "metamorph" which turns into a metamorph ball after you collect 20 of them from transforming any land into another.

That is what is special about blooming meadows, you want those to collect the metamorph resources!

how do you even place forests?

One informal combo (IE it doesn't make any special tiles) Is battlefield and vampire mansion across from each other on a road.

Each loop, the battlefield will spawn a chest. When you "Fight" This chest to open it, a vampire will be added to the fight. But since the chest doesn't fight (unless it is randomly a mimic) you only have to deal with the vampire, letting you farm up some easy exp/equipment whenever you open your chest. If the vampire kill spawns a ghost, you get to fight that solo too for more low-risk rewards.

Another informal combo is the Swamp and a Vampire Mansion, because vampires drain health with each hit, the swamp and Vampire mansion effects combine so that any enemies on that tile damage themselves each time they hit you. Unfortunately, Mosquitoes are an annoying enemy and can wear you down if you're not careful, so be cautious using it.

50% evade chance. Those buggers are the worst.
