Stacking defense is really good.
Not sure of formula yet...
I believe magic damage ignores monster armor or at least help deal damage to ghost but it only work on normal attack.
tested damage all when I had 25 on one loop and 9 on the next with and with out magic damage the ghost where taking for 2 to 6 damage so magic damage dose not effect damage all as the ghost seem to have hit armor.
also knowing that at least with damage all it seems to have a minimum damage of 1 so seems damage all is best for early large groups or if you have vampire's to block the vamp but it would also seem that magic damage is better for late loops to by pass enemies armor.
(So is storm temple lightning. As you increase the number of temples in a row/column, it increases their damage by the armor of the target.)
