Would love to know that as well.

If it's just +% damage then why doesn't it say damage?

I assumed It was damage...

bump, curious too

Some have said that they measured it and it was damage for warrior/rogue and skeleton level for necro.

Didn't seem terribly consensus'd so I dunno for sure.

1 - Increase the hero's strength by 4%.
2 - Increase the hero's strength by 8%.
3 - Increase the hero's strength by 12%.
4 - Increase the hero's strength by 16%.
5 - Increase the hero's strength by 20%.

Hero's strength seems to be translated to the Hero's weapon's primary stat. Still looking into what that does mean for the Necro.

needs to know too .. if its impact necromancer somehow or its a waste only to build

I suspect that they used the term *strength* to imply that the necromancer does not benefit from the bonus, but I'm playing through the game and upgrading this bonus as I am able (despite that I play mainly the necromancer) just so that I can settle this. People have been asking about this for over three years, and there's still no definitive response, it seems.

From what I can see the bonus strength increases the base damage the hero starts off with (that is the damage the hero does without equipped items). The war camp is probably intended to let the warrior and rogue start off a little stronger so they can fight better monsters and get more from their first few loops. The necromancer gets a tiny increase in attack damage but this doesn't apply to his skeletons and the necromancer rarely gets to attack that early in a run.
