Forest vs Thicket?
Looking at these two cards, when would you use the Forest card over the Thicket? I just started playing with them tonight.

I wouldn't unless I was going to burn them down.

I burn forests and plant thickets

I only use it to be swap by the Bookery Card so I can get Thicket or better cards.

Those 2 are tied cards, a good alternative is grove but they generate ratwolf.

I mean in expedition when you pass by the Bookery at least you have forest cards to switch into new cards since you can't switch with an empty hand. One card but you get two versions. One for swapping cards and one for better effect tile.

both forest and deserts aren't ever worth playing, you might as way hold on to them to burn for memory fragments. or use them for bookery to cycle for new cards. its a shame that they both have to come with their bigger counter parts.

though with mountains and rocks, you can at least use the rocks solo to trigger meadow changes and you still get +2 hp, where as mountains dont do anything when they're alone, you have to pair them with another mountain or rock in order to get any hp out of them.

I only use the lesser versions of a card effect, like Forest and Desert, when quickly filling the boss meter is one of my main priorities. I'm usually using Rivers when I do that as well so I'm still getting good value out of them.

Depends where you are in the game, you can use the thickets near the river and the forrests to fill the treasury or just as fast boosts

Ok, cool. Thought I was crazy for a second. Thanks lads.

I'm wondering if this is intentional or if other card affects will come into play later for those.

You can place a Blood Grove near a Forest or Thicket instead of the grove and use oblivion in to get rid of the Forest/Thicket in the same way as you do with groves.

If I burn them for magic damage.
Both forests and thickets give the same ammount.
