Do enough damage and have enough survival that they die before you do.

lol. Okay. I guess That's fair. What are you doing to have enough to survive the 250% critical damage. Are you just stacking ressurction charge? I'm playing on the necro.

Easy, you hit it fast and hard.

More seriously, as soon as we have the appropriate equipment we hire it.

Things in the base that could help you?
The cemetery, the two storage at +10, the river with the forest and or its desert.

The eating grove, super efficient.

Luck in its dodging, even more efficient

Good luck

the bosses get stronger every loop, try use spiders to farm cards and spawn him earlier.

You can also use two outpost tiles to have some backup during the fight, that's how I did it.

You're not making it past the third boss without the right perks and enough camp upgrades. Especially the resurrection and potion upgrades. Those are very important. The kitchen upgrade that lets you rest before the boss is huge too.

If you haven't yet, get three perks each from the previous two bosses. Farm them as needed for materials. Lich is easier, priestess drops orbs more reliably if you can handle her. Necromancer will have the easiest time against the priestess.

The right supply items are important too. Kitchen knives and bread for initial HP, Mountains so you can survive the huge attack, shelves for more hp and potions, herbalist's knife for better potions. If you have been neglecting your supplies and housing, now is a good time to start building them. Supply can be very powerful if you have enough.

Certain perks, like Omicron's technique, the camp skeleton swarm, or article of protection go a long way too.

Both time I've had to fight him around loop 10. Maybe I'm taking too long.
So I'll killed the main guy both time. It's the dogs that kill me.
The last time the dog took me out in one shot from full health. (Not sure how much energy shield or defense I had.

I focus on mostly skel level. I've found that without the level, the skeltons just die in one hit. And despite surbarb giving me 6-7 level, i didn't get that skill.

Alright. I'll do some camp upkeep. Do you feel the mountain card is required for this boss? I've been using Forest & Suburbs for this boss. Maybe I need to switch out the forest.

You need more max HP. Or two extra lives. Necromancer has the lowest max hp so is weak to huge single hits. Summon quality for the big warriors might save you.

Bring the gold card that allows for one revive and build + upgrade the building in camp that does the same.
Bring potion racks for more potions to keep your health up.
If knight/rogue, you may want to either bring arsenal (for the rogue, gives the belt slot for magic hp) or as knight, go rock/mountain and pick the 60 % phantom hp trait (needs the building upgrade that lets you rest before you fight, then you basically get a 60 % extra health for that fight).
I usually use the necromancer with the crypt gold card and the passive trait that stacks magic hp for each summoned skeleton. Then I just delay until I got a massive honking temporary hp shield and hope I kill them before they can kill me three times.

a building gives +1 xp per creature killed, if you don't have it, I strongly recommend that you use it in order to obtain several skills.
NixBoxDone Mar 6, 2021 @ 1:24pm
Ohhh. I like that one. It's a more reliable way to snowball your traits than the Architect trait.

You think that is bad the fourth chapter boss is much worse. Hahaha

Just stack 17 exquisite mirrors and storm temples, easy.

i dont use rocks on the necromancer at all. not worth it. get the desert tiles instead. build up your magic hp, if you can get the one perk that gives .5 magic hp per skeleton summon it will build up quickly if you start filling out the loop. i have had over 500 magic hp on loop 10 before. use forest tiles and if you have it the river tiles also. build up your attack speed. and look for the share damage perk. the dogs of that boss will kill themselves before you die. otherwise potions. level them up and grab extra ones from items.
