Boss Rewards (Spoiler warning)
Hey,
so i dont get the boss rewards. If you pick something like "5% chance to get a chest spawn upon kill", is it permanent or for the rest of the run until you escape or die?

i cant find it showing up anywhere as a stat if i pick it.

It's a talent you keep until the end of the current expedition

Um no. It unlocks the ability for that trait to appear in your level up pool permanently. Beware this can water down your level up RNG and make certain classes rougher to play.

Yeah it can appear in all future level ups. You can also go back and do the bosses again to unlock the other ones.

It's weird how you get punished for just playing the game. I think there should be one re-roll option per level.

While this is true, this card is optional, and you don't have to take it every time. Choosing to take a boss perk permanently adds that trait to your level up deck (if you want to keep the card theme and call it that) and you have no choice but to take it every time. If your argument is you can mitigate this with an optional card, then that card is not so optional anymore.

OR you could just not choose to poison your draw pool when leveling up with unnecessary clutter.
