Not that I'm a fan of the stamina system, but it does mean that at some point the extra attack speed isn't very useful.
thing is, the upside of the mountain peak is worth the harpies. You get +5% over just 3x3 standard mountains, and a ton more if you build it out of just rocks.
stacking say 20 forests in a row and then using a thunder temple, you'll get TWO [villages?] and only 10 magic damage. This isn't even counting the fact that the thunder temple will most likely be out of position to be of any real use (and remember, the thunder temple is a threat to you as well).
There are so many downsides to setting up burnt forests, that the positives negligible to it. Plus the amount of set up and investment isn't worth the trade off as well. As the opening poster said and using the numbers above: sacrificing 20%-40% attack speed for just 10 magic damage is so not worth it. It should be at least 1 magic damage per burnt forest, to maybe even 2.
So if you get 300% attack speed you just attack as normal for a few seconds and than go at it again.
Not to mention the number of battles where you kill everything before they get a chance to really attack you.
he likely doesnt have river yet. But when he does he will understand.
