Am I making a bad move by prioritizing vampirism stats above all others? I've reached the first boss twice but could never out live him.

What are some strats you guys use?

Your camp is expanded and upgraded, and you're at full health when you take on the boss?

If you get behind on defense, then no amount of vampirism will save you...

Evasion works well on the first boss. This is because the attacks are slow and hit hard. Even just dodging one of them has a ton of value.

Good point about evation. I'm just guessing the OP needs to invest in expanding and upgrading his camp (between expeditions).

Spoilers: Using oblivion cards on the boss zones can also help a lot.

Anything to delay your death with the warrior helps because he gains 2% attack damage ever second, so vampirism/evasion is helpful. Also defence while normally very good doesn't work on tthe first boss becasue he uses magic attacks.

You can also just build in such a way that no boss zones can spawn.

For Warrior on first boss I've found that aiming for decent defense and getting *some* vampirism and a high regen stat work well on the first boss. With enough regen and vampirism in the demo I was able to loop until I maxed out all the resources and the boss was pretty cake.

Rogue is giving me trouble though.

Evasion is better early on, vaparism is better later on. Attack speed, damage all, and counter attack are gonna be your best bets early on for warrior, then later transitioning into the defensive stats.

counter with vampirism and the heal on counter trait is pretty nice too

vamp only works if your char is doing enough dmg, i swap to vamp gear when im hitting like 60+, at that point if u keep stacking with some def you can run untill you max resources for that run.

I came up with the idea that evasion is top priority, counter next, and vampirism only third.

@Nauk I picked up on that pretty quickly. I didn't want to use the void cards for anything until I saw his castle appear.
