There is supply items you can get that reflect the Storm Temple's attacks.
zeratulcraft Mar 5, 2021 @ 5:36pm
It reflects at a rate of 6%.
Yeah nah it's pretty bad.

Well you can stack supply items... admittedly still pretty low.

I imagine being the necromancer would be the best time to use it since more targets to hit other than you.

You have to stack like 10 mirrors for that to even be viable in my opinion.

Burned forests do have merit when resource farming though... Keep the 2% thickets, but set an x and y axis to place a storm temple for burning some of the 1% forests for magic damage on a rogue or warrior,

Edit; Oh, and it sucks on necro too. Tends to nuke all your skeletons and leave you wide open to attack. Makes the necro randomly wipe to RNG on an even more regular basis.

i've found that if you have a very tanky build with not alot of damage it can speed up fights without really harming you, it's pretty easy to roll a build that can survive it better than the mobs, less time in fights=less spawns as less days will pass in a fight (which i've found can be a problem with low dps builds)

I find it's good w/ necromancer.

There's also a passive perk from the hunter that gives the character a 60 % chance to reflect a ranged attack to an enemy - no idea if that'd work or stack, but it's absolutely worth a try.
If nothing else, the others are correct to point out that you just need to build a character that doesn't care if he gets hit by it. Then you can ignore it when it hits you and use it to clear faster when it does not.

It's also extremely funny to reach 100% reflect when facing the Lich, since he does Magic damage. This means he can't hurt you at all, and in fact, his attacks damage himself instead.

Even having a few mirrors can be really helpful against the Lich in particular!

Neat, it's the first attack I've just learned can be reflected outside lightings. Do you know others?

Just stack mirrors. Most other supplies outside of the paintings aren't exactly noticeable either unless you stack them. And you get so much space to do so later on.

I'd bet the mage vampires, watcher mages, books and sirens count.
