Cemetery "Piece of information"

Building the Cemetery in the camp claims that you'll get a piece of information every time you pass a cemetery in an expedition. But it doesn't seem to do anything for me when that happens. What exactly does the cemetery (building in camp, not plot of land/card in expedition) do?

I was also wondering the same thing. It does not seem to do anything for me.

It's inconsistent text. It's a memory fragment, same as when you let your hand fill up and cards start decaying.

Oh I see, thanks. But what is a memory fragment? Is that a later game mechanic?

I just tried to get memory fragments by letting my hand fill up and that worked! But then I went past a cemetery and I didn't get the memory fragment that time - and I have got the cemetery built in the camp

I just got a "preserved pebbles" from going through. Cemetery built in camp, no battle fought on tile.

I think you get preserved pebbles regardless of if the cemetery is built in camp.

Same here, cemetery built in the camp, but no additional fragments for passing through the cemetery, only pebbles. Bug?

Memory Fragments are used to get additional lore from the Encyclopedia. It doesn't really have a direct effect on gameplay.

most likely only works in act 2+

This was pre-release. It was changed on release to be Memory Fragments. You get both Memory Fragments and the normal Pebbles.
