The "Village?" tile just spawn Wooden Warriors every 2 days, and allow you to place Wheat Fields nearby like a normal Village. Once you place Wheat Fields near a "Village?" they transform into Overgrown Fields.
Deleting an existing Village with nearby Wheat Fields produces the same effect, generating Overgrown Fields.
This fields spawns the same Scarecrow every 4 days, and also adds 3 "Field of Blades" to every battle inside the tile.
Watchers spawn is not related to combining a Bookery and a Temporal Beacon. They just spawn in every battle in the area of effect of Temporal Beacons (same effect of Vampire Mansion adding Vampires to battles, but in a wider area). The mob that spawns when you combine a Abandoned Bookery and a Temporal Beacon is the Watcher Mage (similar to the Watcher, but dont try to escape from combat, and spawns the normal Tome when dies, so you can easily farm 2 Time Shards on each battle).
Also, one noticeable interaction between Outpost tiles and the Rogue:
Outposts are essentially free: You will never spend dropped items after the battle to pay the soldiers, since you never get items as drop, you only get trophies that are exanged for items in the Campfire. None of this trophies have quality or level, they are just a number, and once you reach the Campfire, the game generates a few items with better or worst quality depending of the number of trophies you have.
thank you so much for this
Bloody groove makes it so the worms cant escape.
It's a secret boss.
It requires overlapping 6 or more blue areas from different tiles on a single tile of the path. So for example temporal beacon, bookery, vamp house, bloodgrove, hungry grove and chrono crystal all affecting the same tile on the path. This causes a 'blue lightning' effect on the tile, and playing Oblivion on it then spawns the boss in that location. The blue lightning effect doesn't show though if a chapter boss is currently present.
That's pretty cool.
Isn't there also a secret boss that shows up when you level up so much that the trait pool for levelups is empty and nothing more can be learned ?
Yep. There's three secret enemies as far as I know. (could be more if others discovered anything) The overlapping areas boss (interesting dialogue btw). The perk enemy when you run out of perk options. And the frog enemy that spawns if you make every single tile on the path a swamp. (it shows up as a green enemy icon in a random spot on the path once you placed the last swamp tile)
Also if you like the blood grove effect, but don't like fighting a bunch of ratwolves, you can place a thicket/forest a tile way from the road and then place a blood grove next to it. (Kinda makes it silly that pulling grove out of your deck locks the blood grove in light of this)
