Damage All add to your single target damage (still counting as Damage All type)
Defense is not a flat -x but as a rule of thumb you can very much count it as such since it act like it for the most part.
An oversight. It would be stupid if it was a big studio like Blizzard leaving a mistake like this in a Diablo game.
I dont know the formula, but most games have some kind of diminishing return formula for armor, and it seems like thats the case here aswell.
Evasion is bursty and need to spend itemization on, while Defense you can mostly soft max with a good shield and a perk. When it comes to hard hitting monsters and something like the first boss which completely ignore Defense, Evasion do shine since you can't get enough defense to cover that.
