The thing with necro is that neither supplies nor item drops really matter to him, so as long as you get talents (easy with suburbs) you kinda win by default...
In return the clear time is super slow.
The others benefit way, more from supplies and want to wait until good equipment drops.
I don't think any class is overpowered, they just fulfill different roles...
200% attack speed
skelly lvl=loop level
able to summon 7 skeletons
75% summon quality
Yet I do not even survive till half his HP....
Is the key here to have multiple resurrections or something?
He's the most dependant on skills, so if you don't roll the right skills, it just makes your runs really bad.
I would wait until you can get skellies that are a couple above the loop. Don't need that much focus on skele quality and I had 150% attack speed at the end. Rest of the map was towns for faster perks.
Are you using ancestral crypt? That's how I beat him on necro. I had around 1700 hp and it just turned into a battle of attrition.
It is a wierd balance choice though. Super easy for clearing, just less so for late game grinding :P
the warrior is the safe bet and if you build it like a tank it will smash anything.
necro is the boss killer, easiest way to kill bosses
Necro is my goto for AFK farming
Meanwhile, my first clear of Act IV was as the rogue, while trying to set up an infinite ruins farming loop rather than actually trying to finish the game.
Necro's kinda the opposite of Rogue here. He can cruise through enemies no issue but the boss is rough.
The problem is that Omega can occasionally nuke all of your skeletons, and his gear nullification can make getting them back difficult.
My solution was to stack as much "max skeletons" as humanly possible; the ranged skeletons can keep chipping away even if your frontline is struggling. You want the perks and +1 max on every piece of gear you can get it (without sacrificing too much skeleton level). If you can consistently manage to summon the ranged skeletons even when he's nullified a piece of gear, you should be good to go.
Skeleton level equal to the loop is dicey, you want 1 or 2 levels more if you can. I usually dedicate a ring slot to +level.
Skeleton Guards are one of the best things in the entire game. I always want to have at least 50% quality so I can reliably get one of those out.
If something lets you go up against Blood Golems and not even blink, it's good.
