Testing Patch1Beta Branch - fixes loading times.

This is a branch meant to solve loading time issues.

This branch does not contain ALL the content incoming for Patch 1 that addresses a rebalance and some quality of life changes + localization. Please remember that this is a test build meant to solve the issue as quickly as possible and has not been tested as thoroughly as we would an official full patch release. If you encounter any bugs, please do let us know in the Steam thread here.

To join the branch:

-Open your Steam Library
-Right-click on Hard West 2 and go to properties
-Go to the betas tab and choose Test Branch for Patch 1 Beta Build. There is no password.

Decided to give the test patch a shot. Started from act one, First loading after booting the game was about 14 secs. Every other loading in act one was between 8 - 10 secs. I have the game installed on SSD. I also have other stuff running in background so i'd say you are on the right path with this patch. Wanted to give you guys some feedback if you are looking for it.

it fixed it for me, the loading times are constant, about 25 seconds, before it was double or more when loading a big map. I guess the map or game save file stoped working for half the duration or something. The double load times were after playing an hour but now after playing more than an hour, it didnt change

Yes! You will not lose your save.

my beta is stuck on install at 100% for almost 10 minutes now. is this normal? all download finished, but still "installing". there's a blue Pause button instead of the Green Play button. Any fix? dont want to lose any progress.

Bit late, but try to clear your download cache in Steam.
Go to Steam settings (top letf), pick downloads, and the last option is to use.

Also, it would be great if you make a separate branch without IL2CPP or share .pdb files (symbols).
