How is the Anti Cheat in this game?

I've been hearing that some games nowadays have Kernal anti-cheat systems that can pretty much give programs control over your computers at the highest level.

I'm not familiar with the anti-cheat this game uses, is it one of those intrusive ones?
Is it safe to use?

This is the game's anti cheat. I have no information on what it does. It seems to be running silently in the background compared to Easy Anti Cheat or BattleEye. I thought it was lying dormant in my PC but it was named AceGuard as a service instead of .exe.

It closes when you don't run the game so I don't think it's intrusive. There's people here complaining about cheaters but yeah I did complained one time but it they turned out to be actual in-game bots if there's no players in your queue doing aim bots (can see through walls) and even have more HP upon doing further investigations. They can't accept friend request, can't be searched, has no skin collections to identify them when you view their profiles.

I spectated the the replays and saw the bots doing aim bots and doing fast mouse flicks and exactly stops at your position without any human error in the entire match that an actual mouse won't do but acts like a script/bot when in reality they're actually bots from the game made by developers never publicly disclosed.

Someone claimed there's 800 K/D cheater in a match but if that was so true everyone would rage quit the lobby. The implementation of bot is far complicated than the rest of onilne games I've ever had though.

Almost every anticheat nowadays is Kernel Level.
Anticheat needs to have enough access to your computer to see what is running to determine if there are cheat software being used.
The main reason why people complain about ACE anti cheat is because its developed by Tencent, and people dont like Tencent.
So far i have yet to hear/read any actual bad things about ACE myself, but there is a rabbit hole of people with opinions about it without any actual factual info to go off on. So that can be fun to read if you are into that.
