Moving by itself

This has happened even during the beta. What is going on??? I'm on M+K but my character always manages to move by itself. Nothing else is connected to my computer that can control my character and it seems like Strinova's literally the only game I've ever had this issue with.

If your keyboard disconnects for whatever reason even if its short, the server will keep the last imput you made and move your character in that direction.
Its a thing a lot of competetive fps games do, to mitigate lag and packageloss.

You might want to check your keyboard connection, use a different usb port, or (re)select it in the default windows imput devices.

What I'm trying to understand is why it's only ever happening with this game? I can play Cod, Overwatch, Valorant, Minecraft, etc for hours and never have this issue. It strictly only ever happens in this game. Oddly enough, I'll unplug/replug the keyboard once and it stops happening during that session, but once I close/reopen the game, it'll continue doing it. I just don't get it...

Do you alt tab before it happens?
If thats the case, make sure the game is in full screen and not windowed (full screen).

It could still be a bug though, but sometimes these little fixes can help.

it got worse if you play the game outside of steam

No luck yet. I thought I had fixed it before but it came back 5 games later.
