Cant buy anything in game

This game doesn't allow steam overlay for me. I cant buy the battle pass. I can't buy anything. anyone experiencing this?

Try turning steam overlay on in the steam settings.
Its under steam> Settings> Ingame.
That should let you open it while ingame.

Not sure how it works if you dont launch through steam though.
