Buying voices?

They add additional contextual dialogue when playing, that's all. Since base string is also used to unlock advanced outfits and whatnot, it's not really worth the base string for voices, imo, unless you REALLY like a certain character and want all of their lines to reduce monotony, Or you've already bought everything else you care about with base string (which at this point probably isn't even possible.)

So, For example, the "Elimination" voices are randomly played when you get an elim. The Ultimate ones when you use your ultimate, etc.

Of all things to make an optional purchase, voice lines are the weirdest. Strinova is nowhere generous enough with game resources for those to seem a worthy expenditure, at least to me.

I 100% agree. Even if you pay money you can't directly get more base string- You have to roll the odds on the gacha and hope you get dupes, or wait for events, or new battlepasses.

They're so miserly with resources in general that spending anything on extra fluff is a waste. If you want advanced skins or to buy a specific outfit, You need every bit of base string you can get. And while specific outfits can be bought with bablo crystals too, the advanced skins/glide effects can ONLY be bought with base string, @2000 a piece on a legendary skin, or @1000 for an epic glide effect like Fuscia's epic Forest Adventure skin.

Voices are to me at least just going to be a 'hope I get lucky in the gacha'. Cause they're too expensive in base string to ever buy directly @150 base string each.

I keep hearing the same 2 voice lines. I can't reacall even hearing any of the ones that I own.

Iuno, I haven't paid enough attention to the few I unlocked from my 30 gacha pulls (I got SO lucky to get both the skin and gun for my so called "Guaranteed" skin within 30 pulls) to notice if the voices ever occur.

I just know that the other voices in that menu are all the voices that the character says at at certain contextual moments, like when using an ultimate. It could be a case of having to pick one to equip for a certain type of line (IE, You can pick One 'Elim' type voice), instead of it randomly picking between all unlocked options? I'd check to be sure, but maintenance atm, lol.
