Steam Deck OLED Crashes
As title said, I've had 40 hours into Strinova using my Steam deck OLED + Keyboard/Mouse setup without any issue, until today it started crashing when I load into a map / selecting a character. Are there still hope for Steam Deck players?

Anyone know how to solve that problem?

it started happening cause of the update on December 13th, the only ones who can fix it are the Devs themselves.

They're not entitled to fix it because it never supported Steam Deck as a platform. its meant for PC and NOT handheld consoles.

Not really, that's why SteamDeck is capable of running Windows OS for that purpose but why bother.

Nothings really stopping them from deciding to fix the issue. They have broken steam deck usage in the past and fixed it so they could do it again.

Majority of anti-cheat uses kernel level causing this issues for Linux (including Steam Deck). All games uses third party anti-cheat. iDreamSky is the developer and they're using Tencent's anti-cheat.

You say the developer should be fixing this issue when the one who developed Anti Cheat Expert is Tencent that is licensed.

This is like asking McDonalds to fix UberEats's broken app when McDonalds simply just uses UberEat's as a third party provider for delivery and they can't really do anything about it.

The fix was use a different platform like FoodPanda (Windows OS in your Steam Deck as an analogy) but no, you wanted McDonalds to go above and beyond for your petty case that wasn't originally supported from the start.

I am not saying the developer should be fixing it. Also I don't think its the anti cheat since the game crashes while in a match or loading a match.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Let me be the first to say:

Thank you.

To my knowledge, you are one of the very few Gacha-type developers to come out and say either "We're working on Steam Deck" or "We support Steam Deck". I do hope official support comes out at some point, preferrably "soon ish", but I also do understand how gamedev works, so I'll just wait and give yall my support, for what that's worth.

And even if this isn't my type of game, I'd go so far as to buy one (or a few?) battle passe(s) in support of the Dev if you accidentally also support Desktop Linuxes like Bazzite, or future SteamOS "consoles" rumored to be in development.

I can get it to run on my steamdeck, but it always crashes after a minute or two of being in the menu, didn't have a problem with anti-cheat and am using mouse/keyboard yet still acting up. doesn't even show an error message, just bumps me back to launcher.

Hi. Thank you for the commitment to supporting Steamdeck/Linux. Is there any update or encouraging words? The game still crashes every minute or so. I assume it is anticheat, but there are a few other games with working anticheat on Linux. I really want to play this game with my friends and family, we all use Linux. Please help us get back up and running! Thanks you if you happen to see this!

Any update on this? The game looks promising and very fun to play. The format also seems like a perfect fit on the Deck.
