there is a great lack of support for wide monitors

i have a 29-inch monitor, a curved ultrawide, and when I go to play, the wide frames on the sides really spoil the atmosphere. PLEASE RELEASE SUPPORT

oh I just meant I also have an ultrawide haha. Mine is 34 inch LG UltraGear QHD 34-inch Curved IPS.

Great monitor, would be nice if Strinova supported the 3440 x 1440, 21:9 aspect ratio without giant black borders on the sides.

The reason is for balance reasons. They can't give people who buy better hardware an edge over others. (Same reason they ban a ton of hardware aim assist tools).

They could of course just go full casual game and let us play with all hardware we buy, since it is unlikely that the English version of Strinova will be some huge e-sport.

ohhh your right this happens to me too. I just didnt know it was a ultra wide screen issue though. THat is confusing. I just press windows and join back and it goes away. Dont try to play threw the black bars.

oh wait, you can get the black bars to go away while keeping ultrawide full screen?

Can you share screen shot of what it looks like for you?

yeah, there is balance issue. I think a lot of shooters that do support ultrawide, they just clip off the top/bottom while keeping the width the same, so it's often considered disadvantage to play in ultrawide. But it would be nice if I could at least have the choice to play like that.
