May as well use this as an opportunity to give a quick update. Beta will be up by April (as in, the controller will be supported, but we will continue improving it). The challenge is testing where to put different functions, especially the stringify function, which is essentially a separate action we have to assign a button. There will be another controller test soon on Discord. Players interested can go check it out.

No.
And I don't suggest you even if it was: Requires accuracy, it's not like Marvel Rivals for example.

Not yet, but the developers are working on it as we speak.

Although some have mentioned it works with the steam deck while some topics mentioned it stoped working with it. So not sure how well it currently works.

It probably is a great time to get used to the game with M&K and then switch to a controller later when it is supported if you favor that. Then atleast you know what the game is like and how everything works.

I suppose that if the devs add controller support would be nice but I wonder how they are gonna implement it, the gameplay requires accuracy at aiming. Not as accurate as Counter Strike, but still.

You can get almost as accurate if not just as accurate with controller as with M&K, it just requires training just like you normaly would need to train it.
For Controller you also aim with your characters movement, since you have both joysticks. The aim joystick (right) is for the general horizontal aim, and vertical adjustment. While your character joystick (left) is for microadjustments of the crosshair.
Using them both together well allows you to flick shots accurately.

We currently have a standard of importing console players to competitive games, that are often a lot younger and have a lot less skill. But controller works just fine for shooters without having much of a skill difference in people who put the same time and effort in (as M&K).
I have used it in the past for Destiny 2, and it works perfectly fine. Its actualy surprising how natural controllers feel once you use them for a bit.
Who knows, i might even give it a shot in the future when i buy a new controller myself.

I dont think a PS4 controller works on a pc, otherwise i could even try that.

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Well, may i suggest since you can't crouch in this game just assign it to the crouch button. For some games is pressing the right stick, others use the right face button (B on XBOX).

Doesn't seem like you've played Marvel Rivals with a controller? Marvel's aim is way more difficult than this game, the movement and targets are just as small if not harder to aim given their speed and the amount of powers you have to deal with. In this case Strinova would be the easiest, and this is coming from a dedicated controller player b/c this game, CSGO, and PUBG are the only ones I play with mouse, and I can tell it would be WAYYY easier with controller. Btw I've made it to Celestial on Marvel Rivals and Master on Apex ranked, so I have plenty of experience with controllers on FPS.

LoL the aim support doesn't work whatsoever in this game.
