They already gave GLOBAL more than enough skins during it's release compared to China yet you want more?
You're so impatient. You couldn't even handle putting a 1 YEAR CONTENT within 2 MONTHS nor could you handle managing an incompetent team without complaining about overwork and minimum wages.
Honestly, the prices in general and how extremely little currency we get for what we spend are so off-putting that I'm not even considering spending another penny anymore. I don't think I felt that in any other game I've played before.
I usually get monthly passes if they exist in the games I'm playing, and BPs if they seem worth it. And then I'll spend some more if I really want to get something else. But here even the monthly pass just sucks, considering there is basically 0 free currency to complement it. So we get like... 2 rolls a week, and that's if we buy the weekly boxes (which we can't even do with the monthly pass alone, as ridiculous as it is)? Saving for a year to get 1 skin in a set of 2 is very exciting.
The whole system is made for whales and only for whales, whereas successful games that have similar models make the most of their revenue from whales, but they give enough low-cost stuff and freebies that lower spenders and F2Ps can also collect stuff - so at the very least they stick with the game and give the whales someone to play with and against.
Considering how much you get for it.
I also think making every single skin farmable through those pink currency, would make a lot of people stick around for the long run to get cool epic skins. But it feels like the company is too focused on trying to make people gacha them for real money, to be interested in making free players stick around.
Honestly, just make the game subscription if you want money and no free players.
Nobody starts a new game as a loyal player. They all start as causal players who are testing the water.
The competition wait for no one especially when laucnhing in a month when a big similar game is releasing.
Maybe for the paid season pass it makes sense, but not for players who dont pay.
Either way its fine to disagree on things like pricing, it wont ever be perfect for everyone regardless. I just hope they make enough money for future development while also increasing the playerbase.
Halfway towards a 50/50 chance of a legendary skin you want. A chance to get something you don’t want that you grinded for for months. Realistically, its only 25% towards the goal.
Because outside anime girls and gacha system, strinova is pretty hardcore \ skillbased shooter.
Attack on Titan was banned for having a plot that includes rising up against the government. You can censor gore and sex but can't really do anything about plot so they ban it.
China's laws regarding anime censorship primarily focus on prohibiting content deemed "negative" or harmful to social morality, including excessive violence, gore, sexual explicitness, and anything that could be interpreted as promoting harmful behaviors, with the National Radio and Television Administration responsible for enforcing these restrictions, often leading to bans on anime series like "Attack on Titan" due to their graphic violence; other key points include::
Broad Content Restrictions:
Chinese censorship laws broadly define "negative content" as anything that could have a negative impact on society, encompassing topics like exaggerated titles, gossip, improper comments on disasters, sexual innuendos, gore, or anything that could encourage unsafe behavior in minors.
Strict Enforcement on Platforms:
Online platforms are required to actively monitor and remove content that violates these regulations, including reviews of comments and real-time inspections to identify problematic material.
Focus on Protecting Youth:
A significant emphasis is placed on protecting children from potentially harmful content, leading to strict censorship of anime with graphic violence or sexual themes.
Examples of Banned Anime:
"Attack on Titan" is a well-known example of an anime banned in China due to its extreme violence, while other series containing similar elements might also be subject to censorship.
Key points to remember about China's anime censorship laws:
No specific "anime censorship law":
While there isn't a dedicated law solely targeting anime, the existing censorship regulations are applied broadly to all forms of media, including anime.
Interpretation is flexible:
The interpretation of what constitutes "negative" content can be subjective, leading to variations in censorship depending on the reviewing agency.
Government Oversight:
The National Radio and Television Administration holds significant power to decide which content is permitted and which is censored
You are 100% correct but some sacrifices needs to be made to keep it running and this is one of them. I don't disagree with you but there's LOYAL game developer who are SO GENEROUS that made the casuals just grind 24/7 and bot farm and never paid a single cent without even battlepass/FOMO and where's that game now? it died. I'm talking about Heroes & Generals as a primary example.
People made tons of accounts, grind them and resell them ruining everything. All of this was there for that reason including the hard grind and expensive skins.
War Thunder was generous until it went downhill and went hard lockin paywall.
By industry standard:
A single price of a skin is usually 2 or 3 times the price of an indie game keeping it alive. This isn't a dress up game per accessory (hat, earrings, top, bottom etc..) where skins are cheap per individual item.
The game developer already made an official response here which is similar to my point:

Go convince and argue with the game developer yourself and get the answers from them instead of me. I'm just stating the facts that game developers couldn't say since they're bounded by scripts and templated posts for PR moves. Work is work after all one wrong move and the company's done for.
They also advertise in YouTube, I have screenshots of it. Majority just couldn't see the advertisements because they have adblocker on to begin with. Including referral event forcing you to drag friends in this game for a chips skin reward.
This game has more playerbase than China but they already tried everything at this point or so as I believe. They're satisfied with what they have by the looks of it and reached their peak limit.
If anyone has better suggestions how then say so here because of all the online games I've played its always been that way.
