Retaliation Ban!? Run, fast, don't spend money here!

Check my profile for the screenshot. I don't use in-game voice chat. Comments in chat are minimal and civil. But on the boards, I'm super critical. Don't get me wrong, I want the game to succeed, but getting banned in-game for what I can only assume is retaliation for comments on the forums is......China behavior.

Was going to drop a few more $$$ on some pulls, and just the day prior bought the 30 day crystal drops, but no way I'm spending more now.

To any mods / devs reading this. I ask that you post publicly right here the reason for the ban and what was said/done, and proof of it. If I'm wrong and did do something, you'll have an apology, but I doubt that will happen.

It's a temp ban, up in just a couple hours from this post, but it's the very first game I've EVER even got a temp ban from....and I've been gaming since I had an Atari 2600 when it was NEW (yes I'm old).

Needless to say.....I'm a tad pissed off. If me being critical of censorship is that scary, just ban me completely and be done with it.

Instead of assuming the causes, have you thought of trying to contact support about it?
You are expecting that a ban system in a new game is perfect and does not make mistakes, and instead a real person took the effort to search up your account in strinova in order to ban you?
Sure its possible, but with only assumtions to go off on... not very likely.

Any game developer won't discuss anything public about your game ban as an industry standardard (including yours). Contact customer support about what it's all about personally.

Anything that isn't relevant to the match and is always complaining about teammates counts to negative bahavior and harassment.

If we use your post history as a basis for how you talk. It's without a doubt that's how you act in-game as well.

Steam bans you here. I don't think Steam is going to tell you what a China based company is doing behind closed doors. China is the heaviest moderated culture in the world. You're lucky you aren't a citizen and talking crap online, straight to the gulag you would go as their police/military show up to arrest you at home.

Well, did type "Taiwan" along with "tianamin square" to test if it was censored, so I guess I'm guilty? Unlike Waryth, I don't make assumptions and don't want to ruin the mood in the game by ranting or raging. I'll save my complaints, comments, criticism for the forums. Complaining in voice / chat in game is just gonna get a bunch of Gen Alphas to start trolling saying "SKILL IZZUE!#!"

And no, I didn't contact customer support. If it's what I suspect it is, not much of a point. China service is in China, so not like I would get a straight answer anyway, and realistically don't expect one here.

Like Hateaddict stated, paraphrased, China is a dystopian society at this point. Big Brother everywhere, social credit system, censorship, monitoring, etc. So why wouldn't some hard-line PRC want to interject themselves?

No Chinese game ever bans you for saying anything about those. They have it censored but never punish you for doing so in a global version of the game.

When you say it in chat it becomes Contains Sensitive Words which doesn't display the actual text to have you reported or even banned.

I just tested saying those you've mentioned, they're not censored but you seem to say it in front of some Chinese players just for racism or for the purpose of annoyance which is a valid reason to have you banned by any authority for disrupting the game's service.

LMAO.. You just don't really wanna know why you're banned that's why.

If what you say is true then you'd have an official response and even use it against them and could convince majority with your point here but no, you don't want to get actual evidence to support your cause.

They're not gonna post your entire chat history ban in a ban UI. They only do that through customer support and appeals.

Ahh, correction. Just got back in and tested "Taiwan" in Union chat. It wasn't censored. Well one step in the right direction.

"Meat Bun Cheese" still is though, rofl To be specific, "Bun" is censored.....

Tiananmen is still censored too.

I'm very guilty of whaling in multiple gacha games, specifically Fate Grand Order and Princess Connect Re:Dive (JP versions). People want to spend their money they have every right to do so, and I can't judge, lol. So just a warning from me based on.....

...what I didn't do in game. Only thing I can think happened is what I stated, a retaliatory ban based on comments here. I don't use voice chat, and I keep it civil in text chat. (unlike all the gooners asking for femboy and feet pics plus posting other sexual content, I just block them)

Right now I used my union chat to test censored words. Perhaps each time it pops up with "sensitive content" it auto reports the account, as I'm sure the game has the ability to log it.
