Nerf whole game pls.

Leona works only on low ranks because apes didn't know mechanics, like ming can regen throught cubes, Eika can recharge etc.

And this "Tricks" works once, because people with more than 20 IQ will start check this positions

While some of those spots are positively dirty, In reality you really don't need to be on the lookout for this kind of thing in 99% of your games. Every once in a blue moon you're going to run into a leona like this, find out on round 1, and be ready for it for the rest of that game.

Plus, Leona doing this is hard committing to an expected attack site, And it only works out IF the enemy attacks that site, which is at best 50/50, and on at least one map is 33/66.


In reality, You're calling for a nerf on the most troll pick of the defender side currently. Leona has the worst win rate of any PUS/defense character, Her gun is the worst in the game (Even worse than Celestia's), She's awful at responding to a changing situation (IE, If the enemy attacks a different bomb site), her A3 is worthless...

... And worst of all, mentioned but not fully explained by JohnRocket, Is that Leona's blocks are a shield battery for Ming, and free fire charge for Eika. Because Ming steals armor from anything she hits- Including deployables like the blocks. So, instantly, just from the enemy team picking Ming or Eika, Leona's capacity to act is DRASTICALLY reduced.

She's fun to play, and can do some nonsense like in that video, But when it comes to hard facts she's just not a good defense pick. Any other defender character would be a better choice in the slot.

Seems more like a bug. You can't even place cubes on most surfaces.

Any decent Kanami will reveal her before she even gets to those heights.

Although it was kinda funny.. It won't be possible to use it in most maps and will require quitsa bit of your time to place the blocks down.
Besides.. The moment you see that in one round, you will start being overly cautious and notice those blocks in the air soon enough.

If you can stand there and A3 them, 90% of the time you could just shoot em. There are a few plant spots where that isn't the case, but, Generally speaking picking A2 would have served you better and helped prevent them from getting to the spot where they can plant in the first place. You could have instead, for example, pre-emptively blocked off the spot they wanted to plant forcing them to plant in a worse position in the open instead of having cover, like this:

Or to simply have to spend a lot of time trying to break the blocks so they can plant in that little corner. 1600-2000hp of block with A2, though, depending on whether you picked +100hp or -20% energy cost, is a LOT to go through while defenders are actively trying to kill you. It's effectively a permanant wall at that point.


A3 is terrible for dueling, since unlike a wind grenade or eika tornado it's not a constant upward force, the enemy can dive right down. And it takes too long to switch from the knock up to the gun to followup on your own- So you need to rely on an ally to followup for you.

Nearly every valid usecase of A3 is better served with adequately used emplacements w/ A2 imo. On the whole A3 is, imo, worthless.

Yes, Worst gun. It has almost the slowest fire rate of all automatic weapons in the game; Ming and Galatea are Slightly lower at 595, But both have character advantages that massively outweigh that, Ming steals armor, and Galatea can TP and attack from any angle; And both do much more damage per bullet. Audrey has as low as 575; But her turret mode more than makes up for that as it dramatically boosts fire rate, and she also has a shield to block damage in a duel.

Nearly every other automatic weapon character has a fire rate of 690+, Flavia is 870, 956 with the fire rate buy. Even Celestia is at 666.

And it's not just fire rate- Leona's damage is worse off than every other low fire rate character too. The ONLY things going for Leona's gun are it's large ammo capacity so you don't have to reload as often, and it's low and easily compensated recoil. Her body shot damage is especially low, so to get any meaningful impact you need to hit the head more often than not. Against anyone that can actually aim, you're going to lose the duel because you just don't do enough damage fast enough compared to every other character, Most of whom have some kind of effect that helps in a duel (ie, ming armor steal, lawine Q w/ A2, Meredith Q, etc.)

fire rate gives an advantage only at close range, at long range it doesn't change anything
this is the reason why people take base dmg on long maps
+ not all people here know how to control weapons with fire rate upgrade

but she is not as bad as you say and certainly does not deserve a nerf

It is not really troll voting a 0-6 game, since sometimes the other team is only good at attacking, and your team is only good at attacking. So you can still get 6-6.

But I am of the opposite opinion that the games should be shorter, because I hate seeing that give up vote show up the moment we've lost 2 rounds. If people can't be bothered to play anything else than steam-rolls, perhaps we should just make it so winning 2 rounds is a steam roll win already. Just let people play 1 round of attack, 1 round of defend, and then end the game.

You know what - it's actually not that bad of an idea lol. Just use overtime mode since the beginning, first to get 2 wins more than the enemy wins the whole match, up until 4-4 or 5-5, then it's draw.

But yeah, we already have demo 2.0 in CN and it's first to 11 now. And honestly I wouldn't mind long matches, but let us lose much less points if it's not a steamroll. For now you only lose much less points if you got SVP which sucks if you play anything but boring duelists.

Eh. I drop the surrender vote after 2 matches every game regardless of win/lose. Gives people a way out early if they want. I play casual though, so no need to worry about points.
Now you guys have Fortnite at home, aren't you happy about it?
