I guess kills weight in the most.
Team Death Match gives you the most wins.
I guess I should try ranked then... but idk if I am ready for it due to all the horror stories.
EXP cards? How do they look like, I need to check if have those. I am totally new to this,
Ranked apparently is a hellhole of the highest caliber. I haven’t touched it and I already have like 150 hours. Maybe I will give it a try once I have double that to make sure I am ready.
EXP cards are essentiality what they sound like- they double your EXP whenever you win a match. Since Ranked Demo gives the most exp a pop, it makes sense to save it for that. I have been using it for Challenge mode Demo...
Yep, the good thing is that they only take effect when you WIN, so you don’t have to worry if you lose, you won’t lose the EXP buff itself.
So from my observations you have 3 options to use them on:
1) Escort: Probably the safest, but also lower pay off one. If you win you get a decent amount of points, and while relatively low, it is consistent overall.
2) Demo Challenge: Gives more than Escort, but it is somewhat less consistent, if you lose you also lose a lot of time per match. Also, if the enemy team surrenders early on, you actually can get less points than if you were doing Escort, hence why this is not as consistent. I say it’s generally worth it though. BTW a TIE actually qualifies as winning here (And in fact, it’s probably the best case scenario since a TIE means 12 rounds were played and thus more EXP for you to cash in)
3) Demo Ranked: Apparently it gives even more exp, the downsides being... everything that entails ranked; longer queue times, horribly loopsided matches, toxic behavior etc.
It seems to be objetively the best option to use your EXP cards on, yet may not be worth it from a real time or mental health point of view.
And... just don’t play the other 2 modes if you got this EXP buff on because that’s just a waste.
I just checked, I guess I dont even have any EXP buff in my inventory,
