Nobody would be willing to play that, and there are no maps designed for it.
Even Team Deathmatches neeeded to have the teams shrinked into twelve players at a time rather than the previous fifteen.. So, you'd need about seven to eight times as big of a map on average, and there's no way that's ever gonna be designed for the time being.
every round of br is streefull and even if you dont play to win (which you might as well just play regular team death match if all you want is to kill people)
it still so random i rather playing dise with quantum mechanic than actually playing BR
balancing in BR game is also a massive nightmare..dont belive me?
see fortnite and apex legends ESPECIALLY FORTNITE
cycles of average BR game :
que to a lobby , wait for 30 sec for the bus to pack up , drop into hot zone ( 1 ) , either ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die in the first few min or you rat your ass out of the area , dies to something random like a sniper or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ new item or weapons , go back to the lobby and repeat
or
drop into a middle of no where...get nothing usefull other than 1 or 2 weapons that in the bottom of the barrel tier , get out in search of more loot , dies cause the other guy have legendary weapons
PS. If you really wanted an anime BR, just wait a couple months somethings comin' ;)
Lack of competing games is bad for us gamers, it makes developers complacent.
not every single massively multiplayer online shooting games are suited for BR mode.
-------------------------------------------
also, BR mode is not as popular as it was in 2010 to 2020.
BR is still popular PUBG, Naraka, & Apex are in the top 10 most played games on Steam today.
I prefer for them to maximize Strinova's Hero Shooter appeal by expanding on Escort maps or even Ranked Escort. Expanding the number of maps in the mode.
So "popular" that the entire genre is dominated by the same few games and anything else is dead on arival.
I would take that too even though I think TDM is it strongest mode.
Most developers and aritsts that worked on those games, sometimes can't even put their works on Portfolios because of it... let alone reuse assets from other games.
Ever wonder why games stop using "Arrows" on top of the character to indicate locations for the next quest/assignment? Yes that crap was copyrighted, that's why we have "mini-maps". Ever though about having Mini Games running during Loading Times? guess what, that is also copyrighted too that's why no game as Ever done it since Tekken 3 came out.
You have tons of small bs like that, that prevent games from ever being free to do w/e they want.... like even using ".mp3" files in your game would get you in to legal trouble if you don't pay royalties to the Mp3-Copyright holder.
Unless you are in China, human laws does not apply over there.
I knew about the minigame one but I never knew about the arrow, care to elaborate?
Strinova already has map layout that are almost similar to Overwatch and Counter-Strike, built with their own assets.
