Is challenge mode really just PvE?

I've played 10 matches so far and have 100% winrate, and I suck at competitive FPS games... lol I'm assuming challenge mode is the PvE mode and Ranked is the actual PvP mode?

The fact that you have 100% winrate proves that its not PvE. Seriously, the bots in this game are better than most players. (except maybe on the easiest setting but who even does that?)

Just go create a room and fill both sides with bots. You will find that they are significantly more competent than the 0 kill players you often find in TDMs

The reason you have 100% winrate is because you only need to get in the top 3 teams out of 5 to (WIN). But yeah ranked is the Demo is the main mode with most of the good players but id also assume most players just are not good at this game.

My streak ended I'm now 15W/1L. I'm starting to get a lot of decent players in my matches now. I was getting worried it was going to be a bot fest, but now things are getting spicy!

Fact. Remember time when i found a game and my provider turn off internet. After 1 hour i watch match history and saw, that bot do 14\14\3

I'm telling you otherwise because since the start of my casual Strinova career I've been getting at least ONE epic failure per match.

The kind that goes to TDM and get 0/14/6 with a duelist.

I know for a fact that AIs are significantly better than them.

100% win rate with 11 matches here, every single one of my games has had a spread of 10 or less kills between 1st and 2nd with people dropping 20+ as the top frag on their teams, its definitely not PVE, you're just better than most people or getting lucky with teammates

First five or so levels in this game are against bots. Afterwards, you start getting actual players.

Play Escort and (especially) Demolition. Most of the decent players are there.

It's because this game offers wallhack / maphack by default.

Comparing to other FPS, the reveal of enemy position in minimap is very generous, and ease of identification of enemy(just like Overwatch but I think it's more easier) makes cheaters less advantage over normal players.

Even you think you're an average player in other FPS, that only tells you that there were a lot of cheaters more than you thought.

Cheaters are often considered as 'good player' because of win rate / accuracy / or any other good stat display.
So good players will get matchmaking with cheaters often and it makes them feel under the average while they're actually, relatively, very good players among entire playerbase.

The first matches propably really are Bot games. I am myself not a very good FPS player. I had 100% winrate till I got the 18th match? That round an enemy player who went 19/1/3 in Demo mode. Soloing me and my whole team.

And now I am pretty much never the MVP anymore. More like 5th and 4th placed in team and maybe sometimes 3rd.

In the first 18 matches I went 16/4/7 and 25/1/3 and now I am leaving matches with 7/9/8 or worse.

Okay Matchmaking reached a level I cant even enjoy the game anymore i am team MVP 5 rounds in a row with 2 kills 9 deaths 0 assists my whole team goes 0/9/0...xD

Yeah its very hard now for me too, and I am for sure above average at shooters lol. I am getting railed in my lobbies not even ranked.
