I want to answer this, since we are getting complaints about why the CN game is different in many ways. This is no secret and has been addressed in different platforms, including discord and other Chinese media platform. You can also read my announcement on the dream token distribution differences.

The CN game is ahead for at least a year. That means if we roll stuff out updates the same speed as in the CN game it just doesn't make sense. There are bound to be differences. The biggest difference would be dream token mechanism, which is arguably easier in the CN game. But the global game has a more direct assess to a lot of skins and cosmetics. This is why during launch day, we received a lot of negative feedbacks from the Chinese community because the global game seemingly has a different gacha mechanics. (Which is untrue. It's just not communicated well to the CN players, which was a mistake on our part.)

But the biggest takeaway from all this is, it's that we learned a lot of lessons in the CN game, AND we are distributing the global game ourselves. I hope that going forward, players can enjoy Strinova for what it is. On our end, we will also increase our effort in communication with our CN team and our CN distributor.

your point being ? monetization in chinese game is known to be quite heavy, they want to make money so it's not like they "favourize" chinese players generally
however i'm curious,

You don't have to buy anything if you don't want to and there are also rewards for logging in and leveling up. What's missing?

do you know chinese player were pissed as hell when genshin global released and global got exclusive rewards?
so much that hoyoverse gave them CN as well, but oh boy u dont wanna know how mean some CN people were when in exchange genshin players also got the CN rewards then.

its about treating every customer equally and not have preferences. Imagine someone just because hes from another country getting cheaper deals by default (outside of taxes and customs and shipping, simply the price)

from what i've seen from asian free to play games in the past decades, the publishers always make it "easy" and "fair" compared to western releases that demand huge grinds with very low rng chances of progression, with very high chances of huge "failures" setting players progressions back, and demand tons of money even for the meager things

Dream tokens tied to the levels, alongside constantly scaling EXP requirement with each level and weekly EXP limit, is straight up worse than getting Dream Tokens after each game.

Please revert this "optimisation", as you called it last week. Or at least introduce more sources of Dream Tokens.

If you know dream tokens are tied to an infinitely scaling system, why did you say in the past that we were obtaining dream tokens are roughly the same rate as CN?

Sincerely the main thing that just needs to be changed. You can make more than enough money with the skin gacha. There's no need to have a worse dream token system and make the players distrust you.

It doesn't matter how far along CN is, you want to carve out a market with your game asap. Not frustrate the playerbase you do have. Please consider adding more consistent sources of dream tokens or reverting dream tokens back to per match.
