whats the point of ranked vs challenge?

is there any point in playing ranked over challenge mode?

Challenge rank only goes up. Ranked requires you to win to climb. So it's a 'better' measure of skill.

I mean... it's like any other game that has ranked... your rewards are the rankings... You get a medal based on your rankings but normally the rank itself is the reward.

No but usualy you get more xp, loot or a better end of season chest the higher your rank. here you seem to only get a medal for your wasted time xD

There’s more rewards on challenge. But you can’t lose points so you just fight sweatier and sweatier players.

Ranked is probably better for casuals but the rewards are not good.

Normally ranked is there to make sure there is a competitive environment. In challenge you can get paired up with just about anybody.

I have had round where i completely dominate the playing field and then others where i almost cant even get a shot in without getting beamed. It almost feels like being shadow banned although i doubt that is the case.
