You expect CS/Valorant to have realistic aiming mechanics when both Valorant/CS/Strinova/Overwatch are unrealistic Arcade Shooters.
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Tactical+FPS+Shooters
1. Recoils all over the place like standard hero shooters.
2. Bullets do "terrible hero shooter damage". Meaning you don't die instantly like in CS.
2a. You still die instantly if resident Widowmaker-type sniper hero headshots you. I can't remember anyone's name yet, nor have i unlocked Widowmaker.
3. Probably the "best" OW/Valorant-like hero shooter atm (as in NOT pubg) by virtue of the other two game companies sucking and this game not being "restricted" (e.g the Marvel one needs to balance game around pre-existing hero abilities). I say probably because I'm not sure if more exists.
Also paper mechanics is new. At least I think its new. (you can turn to some thin paper thing to glide, squeeze through walls, stick on walls. Yes your hitbox becomes smaller.)
I suggest NOT getting this to play it as your "main game" to "invest" in. I suggest treating this more like a "Shooter game to have on hand for when you want to shoot stuff" game.
You can give yourself significant advantages by using your tools right and learning the map and characters.
Most guns have a decent amount of spread and recoil, but you can solve this with weapon upgrades.
-> The recoil is a lot more difficult to control than in Valorant by my opinion. Even Counter-Strike's having it easier..
-> I have no clue what do you mean with nerf gun. Please, do elaborate.
-> Eh.. The game's more of the arcade version of Valorant and Call of Duty at the same time, with some new mechanics tossed in. I'm not even sure if bullet penetration is a thing, but I don't believe so.
The only reason why I mentioned Valorant and not Counter-Strike is because the characters are role based.. And the reason for mentioning Call of Duty is due to the possibility of third person control.
If you are a purist, then maybe it won't be "tactical". If you want your tactical games to be chess-like, then Valorant will be more tactical. I think the thing that makes Strinova more unpredictable than Valorant is how you can peek through the third person camera without being seen. That gives it a mystery element. You can be seen without any evidence you are being seen. If you need predictability, then that is a big thumbs down, probably.
I think Strinova has better ability balance, gun balance, and tactical nature. If you view tactics as a game where there is more complexity to keep tract of and more variables to strategize, then Strinova wins hands down. If you care if guns are the main tactical element to win and everything you do can be broken down into predictable steps, then Valorant is your game.
I like my tactical games to be more complex, where there is more than one solution. Others like Valorant because in a given situation, the gameplay is a bit predictable, unless you are the better shooter. I prefer my tactics to be based on the abilities themselves and timing, not just how good you are at aiming.
The recoil feels nice to me. I like it better than Valorant. When you upgrade your weapons, the recoil doesn't matter as much anymore.
I would recommend the game because it's fun, lol. When you play it, it doesn't feel like a chore like Valorant does. It feels more fun overall. There are more dynamics. There are still guns to do a one / two tap on the heads to kill, but smgs have a bigger place in the meta. It's not just playing vandal only to win.
The Abilities are better balanced. They are more interesting. They aren't all just built around smokes and flashes like Valorant is. The maps are more like Apex than Valorant. They are multilayered and complex. I prefer them. There isn't just one way or two ways to push a section. You can enter it in many ways, and flanks are common place.
It's also surprisingly well programmed and I think uses real engine 4. I get 400 fps on it, whereas Valorant I get 200 inconsistent frames. The coding is pretty good, ngl. Even though there is a Waifu element, it does what Valorant should have done: You can get different attire skins like Apex. That makes it visually more appealing, ngl.
