No it's worse in every capacity. S4 League at least had fun melee combat. This game has nothing...the 2D gimmick isn't actually interesting upon playing. It's just climbing, gliding, and when you reload you can become paper thin so you're harder to shoot. That is the only thing this game has to offer and it's not that interesting.

its different but I like it here, Im from S4 background as well (I did not play in years tho) and I am happy with this game too. Note that S4 had very unique melee combat. This one has a sword but its not that deep.

This game has its own tricks and map knowledge is a king. I just started playing and already found a few neat angles and ambush points involving paper mechanics. This tells me that there will be ways to express yourself with various funny and engaging plays.

this is not comparable to S4 league in any way, this is only comparable to overwatch/valorant

dont compare a apple with a wall, also the only true succesor to S4 league is Code Zin (targeting to release in 2025)
