I can understand you on that
We have a quick update on the timelines. We likely will have controller support by first quarter next year. If there's any delay, it will be up by summer. I know this is taking some time, but there's a lot of things being optimized at the moment and we want to make sure it actually works when we release them.
Mouse and keyboard vs. controller will never be balanced. On it's own, MNK beats controller every time, and with aim assist controller begins beating MNK too consistently.
Apex Legends suffers from a problem where controller aim assist is still too strong even after nerfs. Pros that have played on MNK for their entire lives will swap to controller because it's just simply more reliable to let aim assist do the work for you. It's a major problem that players complain about literally every single day on forums, in-game, videos and streams.
Controller players avg K/D is 31.5% higher than MNK players.
I was seriously considering spending money on this game, but if you go ahead and implement aim assist to controller I will stop playing and leave a negative review.
same
I don't care what changes this might bring in things like maybe match making or cross play but one thing everyone needs to understand is that aim assist is NOT aimbot and that controllers NEED aim assist in shoorters because of how bad they actually are with movement and aiming especially compared to the superior mouse and keyboard.
Yeah, we know everything can be done with software, but not all of us want to waste time tinkering as if this was the only game in the world. Not worth it.
Devs should be the ones doing the work to support controllers, not users.
