4K fix + full screen & render the correct resolutions
Here is the fix for 4K, fullscreen and any other resolution so that the game actually renders what you pick and is not zoomed in:

- click on the top Library tab on Steam
- right click on: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake
- select : Manage
- now pick : Browse local files
- this will open the install folder on one of your hard drives where the game was installed
- right click on the games EXE: CosmicShake.exe
- pick at the bottom : properties
- pick the tab : compatibility
- pick : change high DPI settings
- put a check mark on : High DPI scaling override
- pick from the drop down list: Application
- click on the button : OK

That is it launch the game and pick your rez and even full screen will work now. I could not get 4K to work and window fullscreen was low rez render. This fix will force the game to render the actual resolution you pick and not use Windows scaling, 4K native looks amazing!

I hope this helps

Cool, I am glad it worked, it is night and day hey  man it looks so good! Today is going to be a good day.
A lot of games have issues with high DPI scaling. Sometimes this fix doesn't help. I genuinely found it easier and less of a nuisance to have a hotkey to disable high DPI on my display for when I play games

Yeah. Damn you set up a macro to tell windows to disable it's scaling, that is pretty cool :) , good idea.

Another way is to go to settings in windows and pick the primary screen and just set the scaling to: 100%, that also will fixes it as well.

Yeah me too, I tried my usual edits in engine.ini in the config foldee to fix it but it doesn't seem to have any effect in-game. I had to create the engine.ini so thats probably the issue, not sure how to put those same variables into gameusersettings.ini (which was there by default) in a way where the game uses them.

PCGamingWiki would usually help me out here but it's still not been updated with any details. I'll post here if I find out anything and please do the same if you do.
