Attack and Bubble throw not working

I'm only on the first level and I'm already having issues with being able to attack. All of a sudden my attack will stop working, same as the Bubble Throw.
I know that it is not my mouse, I've tested my mouse just to make sure. But I don't know how to get it to stop glitching like that. I just have to run round hoping it starts working again. Has anyone else been having the same problem? If so, is there anything that helped it work again faster?

Sorry you encountered this issue. I recently made back up save games after the end of each level (so you'd only have to replay the first bit of Jellyfish Fields) for precisely such cases. You can find them here:

Make sure to go into the Saloon at Manta Fe if you didn't already, you can't proceed after that point and won't be able to use bubble throw to hit the target unless you went in to talk to Sandy first in the Saloon.

If you already did that then sorry, I just was thinking maybe that could be your issue as it happened to one of my siblings too

Yeah, I already went past that point and was still having the issue. I was already doing the cacti. I appreciate the info tho, I'll make sure I tell my friends that when they play!
