Could not complete Forgotten Kingdom due to bug

I'll reroll the campaign, but it still sucks that I made it this far on Apocalypse only for the game to bug out.
I poked the offering bowl, fought the Bloodless Heir, came back hours later and put the Cherished Fracture in. The 'cutscene' was my character staring at empty space for a minute, shifting between different images of the statue, and when I regained control there were no rewards.
Without the shard I can't progress further, so... that's it. Please fix this.

If I am not mistaking the DLC has 3 possible endings. What you did was a different ending and not sure you should get rewards there at the bowl but from elsewhere.

Update: I got the quest completion items after restarting the game. Interesting.
