Stuttering after using ADS

Wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue and if anyone has a workaround.
My game is relatively smooth, 80-90fps. However, once I go into ADS and out again, the framerate tanks when moving the camera and produces a lot of stuttering. It remains smooth while in ADS but stuttering outside.
Opening and closing the menu restores the smooth motion until I use ADS again.
