Item Broken After Not Using Immediately

I can't use the /spoiler Nimue's Dream Item
It's a little frustrating, since I didn't realize it was a consumable, and I went back to the ward. Now I can't use the item, I just get two split second status effects I can't see and nothing happens.

I think the item only works if you are in nimues place next to her sleeping. Since the item is supposed to transfer you to her dream.

I've tried that repeatedly, it still doesn't work. Restarted, ended the game, changed online settings, etc etc and none of it works.

Update, I can't use any dream item.

One year later and still not fixe, have same problem. Got the dream but woke her to get the Rune gun and then I wanted to get to her dream and I'm unable to do so. Nimue's Dream is on quick bar and it's red doesnt matter if she sleeps or not ..

guys, just leaving this here, I saw someone say to change from adventure mode to campaign and it seems to enable the items again.
