Why does the bosses agro are always on me 99% of the time?

I'm playing this game in coop from start to finish and..
This os so annoying, I have no room to breathe, to heal, to do my attacks, because the bosses are almost 100% of the time focused on throwing everything they got on me.
This game is good but sometimes it's so rage inducing, and other players are "oh why are u angry?" and they walking in a park just shooting from safety.

How does the aggro works? is it because I'm the host?

THANK YOU I knew it wasn't just me. I play with at least 2 friends 99% of the time and bosses literally do not look at my teammates OR their summons unless i am dead its so infuriating but i at least feel validated in my anger. Its ridiculous.

Spin, what archetypes are you running and what archetypes are your friends running?

Easy solution to the problem, stop dealing more damage than your teammates to the boss. =)

Game could use some agro pull or provoke. Even attaching it to Bulwark, or Challenger's Juggernaut skill. There's a handful of ways to suppress agro but the only thing that pulls agro is Very Good Boy.

Summons can do it as well.

I tried that, did some testing when I was just running around, and they still kept on focusing just me. Also power level we were all at the same number, 19.

That's quite odd, since If I back off and not attack the boss, eventually the boss will start going after other players. If I start attacking, the boss will eventually start going after me again. I also had a time where I went AFK and the other players triggered the teleportation for the OTK boss fight. When I came back, my character was unhurt, and boss totally ignoring me. Was actually hillarious, I was really tempted to just run around doing nothing.

Have you tried having your dog pull agro? Does that work? I'm asking because if nothing will pull agro off you, then there's a bug.

Or maybe you are just not the focus of that particular game. The other two playing with me could just stand there doing nothing, they would also be unhurt.

Or maybe you are just not the focus of that particular game. The other two playing with me could just stand there doing nothing, they would also be unhurt.

In my case, where I was AFK, the boss did eventually start targeting me once I started attacking. So I have no idea what's going on in your games.
