Can someone properly explain red ring of death to me?
It works amazing with starshot and fire amulet

How does it work with overloaded? With Krell Axe? etc

idk what you mean. it doubles the last status effect that you apply, meaning if you only apply one as the krell axe does then the enemy will now have overloaded two times on him. but the description basically already told you that

what does overloaded 2 times mean? double damage?

the status gets applied the exact same way that it would be when it gets applied a single time, just that its now twice on the enemy

aka yes, that status will deal double dmg. reduce that 10% that it has as a downside and as long as you only apply one single status, your new status dmg should be at 180% total (cause you have to take off that 10% two times, as its applied two times)

Is there a way to improve the combo with fire damage from the amulet that does fire damage from explosions?

I'm using star shot and kill switch for boom boom

id say just get it to do more dmg. the best archtypes are prolly archon primary and summoner secondary

I'm hardcore cooping with a buddy right now and I'm debating with myself which archetypes would be best for me. It seems he wants archon summoner

for hardcore id usually go with something that has a death skip, like handler or challenger as your primary

Archon and Summoner won't do anything to help with the DoT damage FYI. The only classes that do are Medic, Alchemist, and Ritualist.

that do be true but i usually use rings for that part, aka Red Ring of Death with Timekeepers Jewel and Power Complex

and regen mod power with archon, focusing on the Explosion DMG with that and just being able to set off more explosions with mods as they do better dmg

if youd want a status focused build entirely i wouldnt use Detonation trigger

edit: also you forgot challenger, as long as you are close that is

I'm surprised to see no mention of "Stone of Malevolence" in this thread.

When used together with any DoT focused build you'll recharge your mods super fast. I was messing around with it in town and the fire tornado will recharge itself before the actual tornado expires.

DoT from Weapon Mod and Archon has passive Mod Power generation.

as that was the reason i went with the archtypes

so i really wonder who of us now made a bad recommendation for OPs request, tho by the matter of fact that you just wrote a random build that has nothing to do with his request id say its more then clear
