If I remember, there was a discussion where reward from puzzle or hidden secrets won't be given in boss rush.
You also get mutators that would usually require you to find a random aberation spawn in the world aswell as the shards for corrupted weapons they drop.
Afaik you do not get any armor drops at all.
Furthermore boss rush gives a lot of scrap and relic dust, especially once you have more items as at the end you will now instead get scrap.
Boss rush is the best source for Simulacrums aswell as you only get 1 per area in the campaign/adventure (whole adventure not per map inside).
Lastly you get a lot of XP. The only other source for XP is AoE farming next to the nightweaver asylum or in one of the nerud areas with the bugs but they are just as fast as boss rush and generally boss rush is more fun and you also get a lot of other stuff.
The way this works is you get the XP at the end. After killing annihilation you have like 10 seconds to switch out archetypes, prism, your ring and drink xp concotion.
As you get a lot of chests you also get a lot of consumables, and although most of them are kinda mid there are a few that are very useful if you actually use them.
Also note that weapon drops include alt kills.
That's everything but maybe I forgot smth^^
In total or consecutive Kills?
Total. The longest rush only has 21 consecutive bosses. Also note a prism is also unlocked at 50 and 200 total kills as well, for a total of 3 once you hit the 500 milestone.
sweet but are the prisms the only thing you get as a reward? usually a boss rush in games like remnant often gives you some accessories or gear as a reward as well
Luckily it's not that way.
R2 has the campaign/adventure to play in order to unlock secrets and stuff.
Boss rush is an extra put there for grinders ( since it's about grinding, and its difficulty is way lower than the standard apocalypse ), that also allows players to get world drops and currencies while playing.
But for starters, it's pretty good being able to do some bosses and get some items ( or for those looking for a specific world drop, without using saveguardian, could be the easiest way ).
A corrector: Gauntlet has 19, instead of 21 bosses.
Yes there are other drops. I think Noop covers most if not all of them. Random trinkets, boss kill rewards, and resources are the big three. But there are also a lot of stuff specific to campaign/adventure that you cannot get through BR.
Many people only mention the prism drop and XP as rewards because they have already collected everything else from campaign/adventure.
so i may be able to get some gear? sounds good but for my build right now i only need the kolket eyelet ring and the others items i have are the whispering marble, dried clay ring, talos eyelet and the dull steel ring
for my armor i'm wearing the full leto mk1
weapons are: chicago typewritert (will be replaced with sparkfire shotgun at one point), black greatsword and double barrel shotgun
Sounds like a decent tank build. I forgot whether Kolket eyelet is a random Yaesha drop or not. You can check the Wiki for this information.
Yes it is a random drop
Boss rush also has a higher chance of rewarding you with the random world drops that you're missing, All things considered, it looks like the best way to farm random stuff that's not tied to a particular location or injectable.
thanks i also hunt down every trait i can find that gives me some kind of damage reduction
i already maxed out bark skin and shadow skin if you know any other damage reduction traits feel free to tell me aside from the handler archetype trait since i'll mostly play solo and even if someone accidentally hits me i can take the punishment
