Note: HC far easier if you are playing co-op since you can cheese the revive mechanic. There is also an exploit currently where you can just revive your characters infinitely.
But its just the usual stuff, black cat band, 25 hp tonic, engineer start(best possible start), second archetype probably medic for more healing, scrap shot to slow enemies, healing root, grenades for bosses.
Keep in mind all rewards for completing apocalypse will be available so probably complete it before trying hardcore veteran.
The handler would be a great choice if it wasn't bugged, it definetly needs more work.
Or you could just try to speedrun it all.
But overall, hardcore is 95% meant for co-op, imagine having 2 turrets or using 2 repulsors to always have the damage buff on
Go for full Leto with Labyrinth Gloves and buy the Ring that gives you the fastest dodge no matter the weight.
Also get the two rings that give you life leech from summons ans bullwark from summons on yaesha.
Also you should start on Yaesha, its the easiest world, you dont even have to fight the Ravager.
Just go and farm items and money and reroll the world until you think you are ready.
Also dont upgrade to often, just your main gun here and there.
You wanne reach the alst world at Power level 11 or 12.
When you reach the last Boss, his area will always be at least 14.
So when you are there you can leave and farm stuff do get even stronger and come back when you think you are ready.
Train the Labyrinth Sentinel until you beat him easily.
Use whatever weapon and mods you like, but the Enigma is still god tier for crowd control, combined with your summons and turret you will steamroll most of the game.
I won with Medic+Engi, but i havent realy abused the Medic part, ithink thats only realy good on higher difficulties.
But just go full tank so you reach 80% damage reduction, crystal hearth relic helped me alot.
And just dont give up, you will fail but just keep trying.
First Remnant i played hardcore and did a lot of grindind to safely pass the world bosses, lot of trait levels, ehere i cannot do that.
