pretty much guaranteed. they do the remnant series and darksiders as they are their most successful games. right now they work on the next Darksiders and after that will move on to the next Remnant.

There is absolutely zero reason for them not to do that and the devs from GFG expressed that they would really like to work on the next remnant (in the end, its in the hands of the upper people, but even they got no reason not to do that).

Its just gonna take a few years at least as they are working on a different game first and then the game itself will take a while.

what i would like no matter how long the Remnant Franchise goes on is that with the final game the Root gets destroyed for good

I don't remember the exact numbers but Remnant 2 sold more than like 2 million copies in less than 6 months or something. Just google "Remnant 2 sales" and there should be an interview from 2023 where one of the developers talks about it.

The better a game sells, the more likely there is to be a sequel and 2 million sales is a lot for many AAA titles. For something closer to AA like Remnant? I imagine Gunfire probably recouped it's development costs very quickly which should hopefully make their publisher willing to fund a sequel at some point.

TL;DR: Remnant 2 was successful financially, so there will probably be a sequel at some point.

When is hard to say. Gunfire hasn't announced what they're working on, but there will probably be at least one non-remnant project between Remnant 2 and Remnant 3. If you want to know ASAP, you should join the game's discord.

idc about when that the possibility is there that a third remnant game is happening is more than enough as an answer for me (fourth if you count in chronos before the ashes)
I would think the odds are pretty good, though I'd like them to not throw in like a hundred rings again just like a solid 40 maybe depending on if they do archetypes again. But at the same time I'd be fine with this being the last one there are so many possible builds you can make. It's fairly unique in what can be done that it would be hard to top that with a 3rd game unless the gameplay was really fun in comparison.
I think this game is quite successful, so probably yes.

Fewer rings? F that, I want a ring for each of my fingers and toes, plus one.
