Can't access dlc

Firstly, I don't own the game on steam but as it's going now I will buy it soon if no solution is found.

Im playing on Xbox pc app. Bought Remnant 2 late 2023 on a Xbox series s and the DLC on the current sale in the Xbox pc app. I never got the one shot option when rolling adventure and no DLC dungeons are rolled randomly.

I've checked that the transaction is successful, manualy installed each individual DLC from ms store and Xbox app, reset ms store and Xbox app then restarted pc, updated windows and Nvidia drivers and lastly verified and repaired game files.

I have not reinstalled the entire game due to limited data

Tried getting a refund so I can just get it on steam and start over but it was instant declined because I've "played" the DLC.

Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure. But, maybe (like steam) you may need to check to see if they are enabled? I don't do xbox, so I'm not sure if that's even a thing, or not. I know in steam you can check in the DLC tab of properties and enable, or disable the dlc's.

Generaly speaking I don't do xbox either, just had a xbox series s for a bit for gamepass since I got the console cheap on contract.

I can enable or disable the dlc but it pretty much just uninstalls or reinstalls the dlc. That didn't work either.

So the DLC is just straight missing from the World Stone menu? Hmmmm......

You should just be able to scroll all the way to the right of the adventure menu and pick whatever DLC story you want to play.

My first thought is that something broke during install or while patching but you already verified your install.

You could check and see if you have more than 10 devices authorized on your Microsoft Account: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/content

Apparently if you have more than 10 devices authorized on your account you can install DLC and it just won't work according to other threads online. Remnant 2 wasn't specifically mentioned, but it sounds similar to what you're seeing.

Other threads suggest resetting the Xbox and MS store apps, which you already did.

Maybe try the game's discord too? Not much came up via search though.

I didn't come across the authorised devices solution when googling the issue. I do have 10 authorised devices none of them current so there's no room for my current pc. I managed to break my Remnant 2 install so I'll have to reinstall at month end when I get new data. I'll leave the authorised devices alone for now and test when I have the game installed. It would be useful to others with the same issue that end up in this thread I guess.

Remnant discord server is pretty locked down. You can't post tech support question only read patch notes and post bug reports. The only place you can post a questions is general channels like LFG, item acquisition or general game questions.

Thanks dude this worked. Shocking that there's nothing in place to tell you that this could be a issue. The so called gaming experts on MS live chat didn't even know, they just repeated the same general things I found on google.

I made room in the device list for MS store via the link above then I had to start any download from the store to force add my current PC to the device list then the DLC started working. This is not the normal devices list link at the top of the page when logging in to your MS account, in case someone is wondering.
