Well, its kinda matter of opinion. Either you are enjoying the game solo or you don't. But I have 97 hours so far, completely solo and I'm still having fun.

It is great solo. Good difficulty options and plenty of items that can help you along if struggling.

I ran a mod on Remnant one that just gave you more hitpoints and a bit more armor and there was no difference between Remnant and any other third person shooter as far as difficulty goes, so not interested after reading that Remnant II is unplayable solo. I am just going to uninstall the game and do something fun.

Games built to be played solo, but then also has added benefit of dropin/out coop.

I think its actually best played solo at first, especially before playing with random players online.

yes but play as the medic type -- i've tried with other classes and wasnt enjoying solo but the medic healing is OP and makes solo way more manageable

Did you try getting the Healing Shot as your starting mod for those other classes? I've found it to be quite good for regular use both in and out of combat, allowing to to reserve your relic charges as a healing of last resort.

Self revive on death character with lifesteal and passive healing...pretty chill for solo.

Yeah it is worth is solo, there are a couple archetypes that can help you like challenger, handler and medic. I mostly play solo.

I think it's totally worth it solo. I actually normally play with friends, but they arent as dedicated as I am to getting all the guns, rings, etc. So I always end up going solo after to collect stuff on my own, its always a blast.
