Broken heart relic

How should one be using this relic heart? I have no clue how to build around it nor for what build can it compliment, save for wanting all rings that activate at 50% hp assuming one does not have restriction cord.

Grey Health builds.... now i've not tested this but Grey Health Build mixed with Rings that activate at X hp are what this is built for. I don't typically run those kinds of builds but I am tempted to give it a go just to see what I can put together with this relic... but beyond that... I don't even know what class would be best... maybe summoner? since you use HP to summon things?

Perhaps the relic procs the one ring that turns all HP lost to Grey HP?

I dunno just gotta experiment... cause i'm sure it's for something I highly doubt such a strange item was just randomly put in the game.

Grey health, right. That actually does not sound bad. Like an on demand damage reduction more than what bulwark can offer.
