DLC bundle really?

First you say it’s not possible to upgrade from standard edition to the ultimate - well ok. Then you release ONLY the first DLC which everyone buys and now you release DLC bundle which is basically an upgrade from standard to the ultimate edition, however, people who bought the first dlc immediately now cannot buy the bundle without the first dlc that they have purchased already. Wtf is wrong with this tricky marketing? Reminds me of of those in-game MTX stores where you can buy a pack of coins but the cheapest item will cost you a slightly more than just one pack of coins so you actually need to buy 2 packs. Fck this crap, shady and misleading marketing should be avoided.

The solution is obvious - let people upgrade from the standard to ultimate and now to get the dlc bundle without the first dlc for those who already own one.

It's almost like they did this in response to the criticism that you couldn't just get it as a bundle...

You whine that they didn't give you the bundle...

Now that the bundle exists you're still whining.

Remind me again why they should care when you and people like you seem h*llbent on finding things to hate?

I wouldn't say anything if they would launch this bundle before or at least at the same time as releasing the DLC 1. I bet a lot of people have bought the DLC 1 just when it has been released.

THe DLC bundle was available since launch of the DLC....Cause i gifted it to my friend on release day.

I am not crying, I just don't like the FOMO crap and the shady marketing as I explained before. They could officialy state before releasing the DLC 1 that you will be able to buy DLC bundle a.k.a. the upgrade to the ultimate or something like that. For the fans who bought DLC as soon as it has been released it's a spit in the face, now we have to buy another dlc separately or buy the bundle and pay once again for the DLC 1 in the bundle. If you are not novice steam user you know that you can alwasy upgrade to deluxe/ultimate editions when you have the base one and the price will be deducted. But anyway, you don't want to see this because either you are a fanboy or just a low IQ specie that operates only with words whine, cry and so on.

People were linking to the bundle on the day the DLC came out. It just didn't have a proper link in the store page for some reason. Also your links don't support your claims at all.

"Last record update" is not the same as "Release Date". On top of that, you can even look through the package information for the bundle and see it's release date says _14 NOVEMBER 2023_.

Maybe they added the DLC bundle on Nov 14th but it wasn't visible. I clearly remember that I came home and saw only the DLC 1 available, even though it didn't have the price yet, and then after like 10 minutes the price appeared and I purchased it. You can call me blind but I didn't see the bundle on the release of the DLC 1 I am 100% sure of that and in the update history from the link above you can see that most of the things for the DLC bundle were added on the next day 15 November 2023 – 01:01:01 UTC.

Meh. Not worth whining about. I didn't buy the 70 buck version because I'm not fond of that idea, especially the companies that do that for a base version of a video game, which Remnant 2 technically wasn't, I just didn't feel like paying the 70 bucks at the time.
Ironically it was a decent deal where almost all others aren't. That's on me as the consumer. I already bought the first DLC by itself, and I'll buy the other two by themselves and pay the extra money. That's on me.

The obvious solution isn't always obvious. Sometimes people outside the company are ignorant and don't understand that there are other reasons as to why a company can't/won't do something. If they say it's not possible, it might be possible but not in a way their systems sell/recognize revenue on a product or how those systems interact with steam or users.

Same here. I don't hate the game, I left positive review and will be getting future DLCs, however, I still think that they could be more transparent and put the greed on the background. Especially after reading that they have sold 2 million copies and fired 904 employees.

Well, I was thinking of just buying the bundle after I bought a DLC 1 just to not bother in the future, but I didn't do that because of the reasons explained in my first post. But, how many people just said fk it and bought again? Maybe I am just overreacting but this situation is far from normal IMHO.

Cool, because this isn't FOMO crap or shady marketing. It was just bad timing on the release of the bundle and you projecting a ton of negativity toward Gunfire Games employees because you feel shafted.

People complained there wasn't a bundle, they released a bundle literally the very next day. Sorry that doesn't help you specifically, but there was nothing malicious happening here.
