But maybe it has something to do with me, playing Hunter/ leveling Summoner.
No ring/amulett was related to ammo gain, but weapon mutators did something though
As my first dungeon boss required for progression, it was such a tedious encounter. Falling off the ledges is frustrating enough without the ridiculously slow climbing animation making it so you're forced to just wait around until you have an opening.
So stupid to have all ladders facing the centre.
Got it again at 21 when I started AM and it's even more tedious, especially when it spawns with Hearty (I imagine Regenator is even worse). Its just a bullet sponge. Not the best fight for ammo collection, but not the worst either.
Ah yeah... it's so easy to forget that you have to face most bosses very early on, if you are unlucky.
Imagine to play challenger level 2 in Yaesha with 90% flying bastards
Killing them grants a lot of ammo.
The issue is coming back up...
its an optional boss wym
Exactly this. Before I had any equipment/upgrades or exp, with 3 relic uses, I got thrown up against this rather tedious bullet sponge of a boss that has tons of opportunities for chip damage when you're very new to the game.
It wasn't a much better experience fighting it at PL21 either. But then I also got the Hive boss when I hit N'erud in W2, and got it again in AM. That was also a fairly tedious boss.
interesting. I thought he was always optional, in all my rr's he has been.
(the Gunslinger prime perk gives you an instant reload + a few seconds of infinite ammo when you use an active-use gunslinger skill, and the starting skill gives you 6 guaranteed-hit shots that doesn't consume ammo... immensely useful, and all you need to unlock the Gunslinger if you didn't preorder is to listen to all of Mudtooth's stories; after unlocking it it's been very hard to go back to any other archetype because removing the reload delay entirely is just such an IMMENSE advantage in boss fights)
But yeah, ladders are consistently sluggish and unfun to deal with, I've got nothing to add there.
