Who else love the Weeping Angel pan statues?
When I first discovered them I was rightly creeped out, annoying to deal with but man, I just love it, kinda wish there were more do deal with in single player, can only imagine how many in multiplayer though, and how that would work.

I haaated them.

Soon as I saw what was going on I darted back to the stone to reset that level. I didn't get any of the tomb dungeons in Yaesha the first time around and I got both Lament and Chimney in this playthrough, and they were both agony.

Neat puzzles though.

Heh, they aren't that hard to deal with the, get near their face than roll away and shoot the gem when they move.

Luckily touching the checkpoint stones reset them.

Turn away is enough. And then look at the statue fast and shoot the crystal. Repeat till golem is dead.

Pretty much this. The game seems to do a cone of vision check. As long as their face is out of your line of sight, they activate. They take I believe one second to deactivate when looked at, during which time they can take damage. Just look away, look back and pop a few shots. If done quickly enough, they barely move.

I know of no such statues and am really curious now. Yes I ran all the way through the campaign and did a lot of missions on yaesha. It says their in the Lament dungeon but I don't recall seeing them.
