Question about explorer archetype

I read somewhere that explorer comes with a chance to get corrupted luminite from regular elites or bosses or something, but haven't been able to confirm this. Can anyone else confirm one way or the other? Trying to decide if its worth it to run or just go back to my main damage build. The only thing I really need is corrupted luminite.

The prime perk (that is, the perk you get when this class is assigned to the LEFT slot of your character screen) for Explorer is "Lucky". This perk gives a chance (10-20-35%) chance to find "additional items and rarer drops" when defeating elites.

I can't find loot tables anywhere, and mind you, Corrupted Luminite normally drops from Aberrations and not Elites (as far as I understand it), but I guess "Lucky" could cause it to drop from normal Elites. I dunno, I haven't tried it.

Not saying it will, but this would explain the claim.

Yes, but only if you equip Explorer as your prime archetype. At lvl 10, you have 35% chance to get better drops.

Yea I know about the prime perk, it's just a matter if corrupted luminite is in the loot pool for non abberations like the person above was saying. I'm asking if anyone has actually gotten corrupted luminite from a non abberation, because I've been using it for 2 days now at level 10 as my primary archetype and have yet to get any corrupted luminite outside of the normal abberations.

To clarify my previous answer, yes you will get corrupted luminite. I have played a lot as a Lucky Apothecary (Explorer/Alchemist) and I was getting from time to time corrupted luminite when killing regular elites.
