We get this long drawn out sequence, a completely unnecessary mini add phase from the boss, then we just, I dunno, rebooted everything?
Okay, now what? Oh we're just acting like nothing happened? Nobody has anything further to say on the matter?
I still think I must've missed something really obvious, because nobody had anything to say and there was nothing at the Blackened Citidel or Inner Sanctum.
Most all stories have already been told. Honestly, the voice acting was all so terrible towards the end of the game, I'd just assume see the universe end.
The answer will surprise you. I will only quote the end... "As the narrative reaches its climax, the protagonist and their allies must make a final stand against the ultimate embodiment of the Root's malevolence. The fate of humanity rests in their hands, and only by unlocking the secrets of the ancient past can they guide Earth towards a brighter future."
The story is made by chatgpt. Guaranteed.
Root earth is an alternate universe. Think Multiverse or whatever
Did Clementine? I honestly have no idea.
The ending felt like I'd missed several chapters where they actually explained wtf Clementine's power was. Also the Keeper was absolutely useless the whole game.
Even taking in multiverse issue, a beyond saving universe that already been contained and isolated shouldn't continuously affect a different universe altogether
They say it's another Earth, but our Earth's weather changes to match Root Earth as soon as we unlock it?
There are weird loopholes like this that are a bit curious. Like Tal'Ratha asking me to find him in his tower and not the weird tank he's in, but then I have to specifically take his stuff to the tank? He's... never in any tower?
Well according to the game this alternate universe is effecting other universes. Think a computer virus being contained but wasn't contained perfectly so parts of it are leaking everywhere
However, "They want to make a DLCs to continue the story" -> yes, absolutely
